[Opinions] Lutherene
I was switching channels yesterday and came across the Tyra show. There was a woman on there named Lutherene, pronounced exactly like Lutheran. I don't know if her parents were going for a religious angle or if she was named after a family member named Luther and they wanted to make it feminine. Either way, I think it might be a fail. What do you guys think?

It thoundth like a mithtake for Luthy ...
yuk!
Lutherene pronounced "loo-ther-een" would be bad enough. But to use the same pronunciation as the noun Lutheran begs the question, "Why? Oh, why?"
And before I get flamed I don't like the name Christian either.

In my opinion it's a big ol' fail. Sorry Lutherene.
It's a fail. Lutherene, no matter how it's prn does nothing for me because I find the whole Luther sound awful. The sp is also awful because it looks like it should be prn loo-ther-EEN.
