Not digging Remedy, but Remedios is one of those names that could grow on me (I love Socorro, Mercedes, etc.). BTW, Remedios is a female name to me, given in honor of the Virgin Mary.

Well, that makes sense since the writer is Colombian and it's a Spanish female name.
