Abalone is probably the most delicious shellfish in the world, with a lovely inner shell; but Abelone is just too close to be a good human name.

It's a typical Danish name, normally not found in Norway and Sweden. I don't like it, but that's because I once read a book in once there was a horrible woman Abelone.

I think the name of a mollusk seems kind of strange for a name. I'm surprised to see it's a form of Apollonia!

The abalone shell. Which is ok, they are very pretty shells.I like this name, its neat.

It looks interesting written down but alas, I think 'balogna' or 'baloney.'
