[Opinions] Re: Vaughan

I prefer Vaughan because one of my hobbies is seeing how many letters I can squeeze into a single syllable. I think Vaughn would have a slightly easier time getting people to spell it though.
I think it's a decent name in principle, and it gives me a nice image of a modest and moral but not all-American-WASP guy who loves brown argyle. The problem I have with it (besides not really loving the sound) is that with almost any middle name or surname, it sounds like "von _____". Even in Vaughan Vincent. Though I just realised that it probably popped into your head subconsciously because of Vince Vaughn. Ew.
Now that I think about it, Ludwig Vaughan would make an AWESOME combo and anyone who doesn't like it can go off into the dumb people corner.

Vince Vaughn, that just ruined Vincenet for me! I want to like Vincent so much. I want it to be classy and not sleazy.
I actually kinda like that is sounds like "von ____". It gives it such a malevolent cloak of malevolence. And I think that is what keeps it from sounding too flakey. Ludwig Vaughan is also excellent in capturing that spirit. Well done!
