I'm not a huge fan of Theodore, even though I'd be happy to see a few Theodores nn Ted rather than yet another trendy name.
I prefer it as a nn for Edward. But I love the nn Edward "Ned" even more!
I think Ted doesn't stand well on its own, it feels awkwardly small, especially since it's typically used as a nn for the imposing Theodore.
