I think of Irving Thalberg (sp?), Hollywood producer who died too young. He was married to Norma Shearer (sp?). Sad.

The second thing I think of is Washington Irving. I visited his house (Sunnyside) in Tarrytown, NY (although I think the name of the town has been changed to Irvington). I highly recommend going there if you're in the neighborhood. They've preserved the homestead wonderfully.
