[Facts] my Sanskrit name
hi! i have been desperately trying to trace a spesific meaning for my name (Lalima). I know it is Sanskrit, and associated with the colour red. Also it's supposed to be some kind of lyrical/poetic indication.. Is here any Sanskrit/name-genius who could help me out??
Thanks loads.

Avyukta
Namaskar!
I found the meaning of "AVYUKTA" in 108 names of Lord
Krishna as "One who is as clear as Crystal" . This
name seems to be baby girl. So, we think to name our
baby boy as "Avyukth" if the meaning doesn't changes.
Please clarify me.

Avyukta is an adjective consisting of the prefix 'A-' meaning 'without', and the root 'Yuj' meaning joining, attachment, YOKE. So the meaning you mention is completely fictitious.
As a name of Krishna, we should probably choose the translation 'unattached (to the world)'.
Why you would knowingly choose the wrong spelling 'Avyukth' is a mystery to me. It looks monstrous.

Ok, small correction.
It's made up of A- =not, Vi- =with, (root)Yuj =attachment etc.

There's so much different information. At one site it's said to be a name of Lakshmi also. So now Saraswati. Interesting. Oh well...
what does my name mean
This means 'Done, Accomplished, Made, Performed'. 'Well Done, Proper, Good'.
I know. Probably it has the same meaning of another name. I searched lalima and it couldn't find it.
Hmmm. I'm Indian, and my grandmother's name is Lalitha. Maybe it has some roots in that? Leela means play, so maybe it can come from that as well. I'll go ask my grandparetns who are Indian name experts to find out. I'll reply soon.

Lala, I would really appreciate it!
by the way... is Lala a "real" name, or just a nickname? Is there a meaning? I really like it. I live in Nepal (I am originally from Finland), and I am always looking for interesting names, especially now that me and my husband are trying to get pregnant.
I sincerely thank you for trying to help me in my quest. Lalima
