[Opinions] Faline
I am actually considering this name as I think it's rather pretty. What are you opinions and what would you pair it with for a middle name.
Faline (Pronunciation: fah LEEN)

If I could get the Disney vibe out of my head, I could probably take it more seriously, but I can't with the Bambi thing being my only association with the name.
I'm not a fan of many -leen sounding names anyway (Darlene, Carlene, Selene, Pauline, Helene, Colene, etc.) They sound dated.
I'd certainly use it as a mn if I had to use it.

Looks too close to feline and sounds too close to 'fall in'.
It reminds me of falling, sorry.
Sorry, all I see is either "failing," "feline" or "farine" (French for "flour").
I sort of like it. When I first heard it I thought it was "Philline".
I like it.
Faline is soft and feminine and graceful and lovely, to my ear. I don't think of a cat, however, possibly because my first exposure to the name occurred in the form of a deer. I am far more likely to use it as a mn than first, mainly because so many people seem to dislike it and/or associate it with cats, but I see nothing inherent in the name itself to make it unusable as a first name.

I don't care for the name...sorry. It reminds me of Filene as in Filene's Basement, which is the name of a bargain clothing store chain. In addition to this association, I don't think the name has an attractive sound or look, so I would avoid it.
i am unfamiliar with the bargain clothing store.
I don't think it's a major drawback, it's just how I think of the name. On a side note, I'm not sure about all of Filene's locations, but I know they are in Boston and DC. It's probably an east-coast-large-city thing.
I guess it's not bad, objectively. It's pretty. But all I can think of is a deer. Like it's a good name for a deer. A doe, of course. Not a buck.
Honestly...
It's a single letter away from feline, so I can't really see it as a name. It's got a pretty sound and I can understand the attraction. I'm just not sure it would work very well.
