I personally don't like it, but I honestly wouldn't blink twice if I came across someone with the name. I actually went to school with a boy whose last name was Sparrow and everyone always called him that, so I tend to think of it as a boy's name.

The other thing I don't like much about Sparrow as a fn, especially for a girl, is what kind of nicknames would she have, if she didn't go by her full name? I can't think of any good ones.
