I generally don't like the idea of having pesky flittering songbirds as namesakes, regardless of gender. I have no idea why, but to me this comes of as a "yuppies who think they're hippies because they shop at Trader Joe's" type of name. Possibly because it's a nature name without being too far out there. That being said, I'm not a fan.
