[Opinions] Re: Pronounciation is key!
in reply to a message by LadyBug18
1. I've always pronounced Elena as eh-lay-nah and both heh-leh-nah and heh-lay-nah for Helena but recently I prefer heh-lay-nah. I pronounce Lena as lee-nah, mainly because I'm used to saying lee-nah when saying my username out loud (my username was spoken way before I wrote/typed it)
2. The pronounciation of Hermione always stumps me, it just doesn't look like her-my-oh-nee (I don't even know what it looks like to me)
3. I've always pronounced Kezia as kez-ee-ah (which is probably comepletely wrong). I'm not keen on it anyway.

That's funny, because to me, now that I actually know, it looks exactly how it sounds.
Her-mi-o-ne. You just pronounce every single vowel, where normally they'd be silent. Of course, when I first read Harry Potter, I was prn. it Hermy-own.
