According to SCB, there are 15 girls/women in Sweden named Leakim and 6 boys/men, so it's not unique, but very rare.
To me, it sounds male ... and quite interesting ;)

Wonder if the parents to all these girls and boys also wanted to honor a Mikael or if it is a "real" name in some language.
