The Hungarian pronunciation is a bit different, but hard to explain and replicate if you don't speak Hungarian, so this is the closest an English speaker usually gets to the original. They would spell the long AH sound as á.

Nah, Zsazsa Gabor doesn't seem to have a problem with it. Besides all names sound a bit different in different languages (my dear Barbara sounds nothing like the English harsh Barbara in Croatian).

Hmmm... I might just stick it on my list anyway, then... How do you pronounce Barbara?

In Croatian it's 'BAHR-bah-rah', and the Rs are soft.
