Maybe it is Turkish, but it's definitely not Egyptian or German. I've never heard of a German woman named Alara. Maybe there are Turkish women in Germany with the name, but not ethnic German women.

I guess that makes sense, thanks for the help :) Wherever it comes from though, it's still a pretty name.
