I like that:
- I've never met anyone named Crispin
- It's easy to read/pronounce
- It's easy to spell
- It has a common nickname option
Yup, mostly good. If only I good shake the feeling that it's a breakfast cereal. I think, there was an Olympic snowboarder with this name, which increases the coolness factor.
I don't think the closeness with Christian is a big deal. Easily corrected if people hear it wrong.
I like that he would have the option of being "just another Chris" but I think Crisp or Spin would be cool nicknames too.
ETA: Ooo, or how about Kip/Cip?
