It's been one year since Lucie, Will and Petie joined our family.
Lucie, now 16, gave birth to a daughter three months after she arrived at our home. Little Anouk Hélène Amélie, or Ani for short is a playful 9 month old and has dark curls and blue eyes. We are so very happy to have a healthy granddaughter, and Penny really enjoys being an Auntie. On her spare time, Lucie does schoolwork, gives Penny singing lessons, or reads books. We have her almost fluent in English, and she's got most of us fluent in French so we are now a bilingual family.
Will and Petie have fit comfortably in our big family. They instantly connected with Charlotte and Nathan and the four are nearly inseparable. Nathan is showing Petie the ropes in the kitchen, Will draws and colours with Penny and Charlotte. They are doing well in school, jumping ahead to be in Charlotte's grade.
We are so happy and fortunate to adopt, and all o us thank you from the bottom of our hearts for bringing us together.
