The Ronnie type names don't appeal to me, but if Ronia(h) were pronounced ROHN-ya, I'd like it. That has a much more pleasant sound. It's very sweet. I love long O sounds.

I pronounce it so the first syllable sounds like ROHN, not RON. With a long O. I don't like Ronnie either, but I kind of like Roni.Ronia is ROHN-ya, but I'm not sure about Roniah. I guess it's roe-NEE-ah or roe-NY-ah. There were also some girls named Ronya and some named Roniya.
