[Opinions] On Easterdaeg...
It is used as a surname! I have a friend whose last name is Easterday, which I think is so cool. My friend said Easterday is an Anglicized form of Östertag (German) and that the name in her family had originated by being given to an orphan found at a church on Easter morning.
