Actually it is quite nice, the more i say it the more i like it. Johnny Depp played Ichabod Crane in "Sleepy Hollow", yes i give it the thumbs up.

kind of reminds me of a story i wrote once with a main character by the name of "Ichabob". :-) But it's very nice!

I've always thought it was neat, but I put it in the same catagory as Ebenezer (which I also think is nice) that of having a really nice sound but having some rather negative connections. Just as Ebenezer will almost always make people think of Dicken's old miser Ebenezer Scrooge so Ichabod will almost always make people think of Ichabod Crane, it's not that bad of a connection but it's a little strange. Also the meaning of Ichabod is rather negative it's a Bibical name that means "where is the glory?" or rather "the glory has departed" meaning that it's not altogether a good thing. And the nickname Icky which could be teased a lot. It does have a strong masculine feel to it though! :)

I think it's an interesting name. It's not a particular favorite, but I do think it's rather nice name, very masculine.

I've adopted 40 Punctuation Marks (!?~). Their names are in my profile."To a brave man, good luck and bad luck are like his right and left arms. He uses both."

Absolutely love it!I love Ichabod! I guess I can call it one of my guilty pleasures because it seems that no one else likes the name. I think it's distinguished and masculine sounding. And there's always the neat literary reference._____

I like it a lot, and the fact that it sounds like "Ick! A bod!" has never bothered me--but that was the comment I got most back when it was once of my favourites. Personally, I think Icky would be a fun nickname. :PArray
