[Opinions] Lot
Would anyone use the name Lot? Why or why not?
What combos would you use it in?
Thanks!

Probably not a Lot. xD But anyhow maybe as a nickname for Charlotte, instead of Lottie maybe just Lotte as a quick way to grab that persons attention. but as others sad, being a word in English, it's a funky idea for me.

Well, that's a good idea. Lottie and Lotte... I didn't think of that!! :-)

Bwahahaha! :PI never thought of it as a nickname for Charlotte. Kind of a stretch since it's so linked to the Biblical dude, but interesting idea.

No, because it's a common word in the English language. Probably too common to be used as a name.

Isn't Lot a Biblical name? I seem to think it is, so I suppose a religious person might use it. Ohhh I see. He's the guy whose wife turned to stone and he had sex with his daughters to repopulate the area. Hmm. That's something. It's a nice sounding name though. There's something very plain and honest about it. I'd want to pair it with similarily honest sounding middle names.Lot Abraham
Lot Henry
Lot Isaac
Lot Eugene
Lot MalcolmIt's a bit abrupt, isn't it.

I think technically the story goes that his daughters got him drunk and each had a baby by him to keep the population going. It wasn't something he was down with apparently...(can't say I blame him there!)I agree about the names sort of simplistic strength. I like Malcolm Lot quite a bit! Isaac Lot would be good as well.. nice ideas!

Oh man I only could remember Lot was connected to Abraham, but I forgot about his wife turning to a pillar of salt and then yeah... lovely. (Aww, Lot's wife doesn't seem to have a name. Too bad. I'll bet it was epic.)Funny, I considered Lot Abraham and Lot Eugene but never added them to the list. I thought Lot and Abraham were too much together with their connection. You described it well, which helps because I wasn't quite sure how I felt about it. Lot Henry is really nice and stays in that vein. I thought I might've been onto something with Lot Peter, and I think they feel similar.

Lot is always interesting to me because it seems so odd. Such a random little word, though actually Biblical. It does get your attention. I must try to combo it!(Whaaa Lot isn't in the database?!)Lot Augustus
Lot Bartholomew
Lot Christopher
Lot Everett
Lot Finlo
Lot Harvey
Lot Ingram
Lot Peter
Lot Phineas
Lot Sable
Lot Sullivan
Lot TennysonThat was hard. I'm not entirely sure what to do with it, so it's a bit all over.

I automatically think "lot in life" or "alot" or of the pillar of salt...But yes, seeing the Dot post made me think why I never see Lot used, I mean, people use Job and his charactor wasn't one who's life I'd want my son to replicate, so why not Lot?
I really like your Lot Finlo combo the best. Lot Ingram is a close 2nd...I was thinking something like a 2nd middle name for Lot.Henry Augustus Lot
