I wasn't too fond of Eluned very much when I first saw it, but it's grown on me and I like it a lot now. It's one of those names that evokes the imagery of spring flowers and green grass. Ellie would make a good nickname, or even Ned would be cute if one doesn't mind a gender-bending moniker.

Can't stand Ellie, so overdone these days. Ned where I usually live means a hooligan, so a definite no. Don't want Lynn/Linn either as it's so dated and my very common mn.

I like Luna but as it's not pn that way, I wouldn't use it as a first name.

I don't like Lynn too much either. Maybe Ellen (Elun) could work, then?
