Because Abaigeal is the Gaelicization of Abigail.

Well, now that is a possibility because her middle name is Maeve.... It definitely wasn't a typo but maybe an inadvertant mis-spelling on the part of the parents and not a creative touch??
That kind of makes my day.... that maybe they just accidently mis-spelled.... kind of sad that ignorance would please me, huh?
