I can't say I like either.
Aneirin looks and sounds like the name of a medication to me--like, "Oh, yeah, I stopped taking Prozac because I was having really bad side effects. I'm on 50 mg of
Aneirin, though, and that's working out." Plus, the first thing I saw when I read the name was "aneurysm." Aneira doesn't really do it for me either.
And another thing it sounds like to me--because my little sister is silly, this name sounds exactly like the way she would say "an iron." The rest of us say "EYE-urn" for iron, but she says "EYE-ruhn."
I do like the nickname
Nye, though. It's reminiscent of childhood for me--I grew up watching
Bill Nye the Science
Guy, like every other American child of the 90s, heh. :D
Of your combos, I think I like
Aneirin Marcus and
Aneirin Theodore best.

"No, it wasn't a dare," Almanzo said. "I just figured he was right."
