Wow I had no idea it was botanical. It sounds like a metal or mineral. Or a robot! I kinda like it for that. Not something I'd use, but I like it.
The offbeat botanical names I like are Astilbe and Lobelia. I'm not very good with plant names so I can't think of any others...

How do you pronounce Astilbe? As-tilb? As-tilb-eh? I don't think I would use it as a name, but the look of the word is interesting.
Lobelia always makes me think of "lobes".
