I don't like it...do you know it was the name of a weight loss med in canada

I, like a previous poster, immediately thought of "prime meridian". Not a good association nor a bad association, but kind of makes it sounds more like a word than a name to me.

Meridia is a nice name, I wouldn't personally use it.

I don't know about middle names for this but I think it would be a pretty cool sounding middle name itself...

It sounds more like a word than a name to me, like the word Meridian. There is a news programme in my area called Meridian News and that's also what I think of.
