Lilith
Lily, even in spite its serge in popularity.
Lily.
Lily.
I prefer the edgy darkness of Lilith...Lily is a sweet nn for it too so you get the best of both worlds!
I use to like Lilith a lot. But since I've been watching Fraiser a lot lately I've started not to like it very much. Also it just seems like a name that someone uses to be rebelious. And because of that it also seems like a hipster name. So I prefer Lily even though it is popular. I like flowers and even though certain flower names are very popular lately I still choose Lily. :) Lillian and Liliane are also growing on me. I've liked Lilia and Lilya and Liliya for a while now. Also there is Lila but I'm not certain how to pronounce it.
If you want something less expected and not too frilly what about Lilium? It is the genus of flowers that include lilies. If I was using a Lily name for my own child I'd choose Lilia, Lilium or Liliane.

Opps, meant this under the main post
Lilith, I loathe Lily as a nn but even more as a full name. Lilith is a nice change for the eyes and ears to all the other Lily names I seem to see used only for the nn Lily. Hopefully Lilith wouldn't be just another Lily, but at least she have the choice.
