It has a nice sound and reminds me of Timothy. But as a name for an actual person, no.

It's cute in a sad little way... like Meek or Shy would be.

Definitely does sound like a name to me. Also, it's not a great thing to be really, so it's not a great meaning. What if Timid turns out to be really loud and outgoing?

For a real life living and breathing humsn being? No.

I can't really see it as a real name for a person. Do you intend it as male or female? It seems rather cruel either way.
