[Opinions] Benno
What do you all think of Benno? Is it usable? Any combo ideas?

Way to nicknamey for a full name to me. I get to much of a Jimbo/Danno/Stevo/etc. vibe from it. Would make a really nice alternative to Ben though.
Love it, one of my favorite nicknames. I think I would make it short for Benjamin/Bennett etc, though.
Hmm. I like it. I could see it on a dog or a human. I think I prefer it as a nickname for some sort of Ben name, but it's cool.
I think it sounds like a cleaning product: Use Benno on those tough stains!
I think it's most usable as a nickname. As a short form for Benjamin or Benedict, I think it's really cute.
I think it's adorable though I would never use it myself. It's kind of nicknamey and a bit macho but I still like it. I also like the meaning. It's definitely usable in my opinion.
I pronounce it Ben-no (not Beano) and I'm pretty sure that's the correct German pronunciation.
I would use a longer middle name for Benno. Something like Benno Alexander, Benno Sebastian, Benno Mathias etc

I love the meaning. I thought it was pronounced BEN-oh when I saw it and it seemed nick-namey for Beneficio which was cool. But BE-no makes me think of the anti-gas medication Beano... shich isn't so cool.
You thought right when you saw it, it is pronounced BEN-oh. How do you pronouce Beano? Sorry, I don't know the medication...

Is it pronounced like Beano? The listing says "BE-no." According to the key, that e is like the e in bet.
I was going to ask the same thing. BE-no and BEN-o are pretty much the same to me with the key this site provides. I say BEN-o (I'm German).
How is Beano pronounced?

Beano = BEE-no. It's like bean with an o on the end.
Thank you! Benno is not pronounced like that.

Yeah
My first thought was it was a nickname for Ben- names, and a silly one. My second thought was that it was really close to Beano... didn't even notice that it actually is pronounced like Beano! Definitely not usable here at least.
