I think Loretta goes well with Caroline, Charlotte, Celeste, Elaine, Estelle, Penelope, Patricia, Felicity, Samantha, Genevieve, Ophelia, Miranda, May, Mary, Marie, Maria.
I think Loretta goes very well with Rosemary. It also goes pretty well with Matilda. I think as a sibset Matilda, Rosemary and Loretta go well together.
I like Loretta because it is my mother's name. Also it makes me think of Loretta Young. It makes me think of the South and Soul music. I also think of Greece and Greek people and food. It makes me think of the Lobelia plant since that's one of my mother's favorite flowers.
Some good nn for Loretta are Lora or Etta or Ettie. I especially like Ettie. Retta is also cute. Rett is a bit too masculine imo. My mother didn't go by any nn. Very very rarely her mother would call her Lorie. At least I think she did. But maybe she didn't. Can't remember. If she did, it was so rare I don't remember.
