[Opinions] Mamie / Maimie
I recently read Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens which had a character called Maimie in it. WDYTO Maimie (or Mamie)?

I find it too cutesy as a full name, but it's okay as a nickname.

Sorry, it conjures up "maimed" and "maiming" in my head. Unpleasant images.

I absolutely adore Mamie as a nickname for Marianne and other Mary-related names.

Mamie is OK but only as a nickname. Also it depends where you're from. For example, in some places they call their Mother "Mam" or "Mammy", so it might be too close to that!Maimie looks strange because it has the word "maim" in it. Mamie has the same sound, but it doesn't have the I so the word "maim" isn't spelled out.

I think it makes a really cute nickname, but I definitely don't like it as a full name. I prefer Mamie, as Maimie looks a little silly to me.

I think it's an adorable nickname, but too cutesy for a full name. At one point it was my nickname of choice for Margaret, and still would be in the running if I ever have a Margaret.I like Mamie better. Maimie looks odd to me.
