[Opinions] Anagrams? (Nadia and Aydan)
I really like both the names Nadia and Aydan for girls. However, they're sort of anagrams, since Aydan is also spelled Aidan sometimes and Nadia can also be spelled Nadya. Do you think people would notice the similarities? And do you think it would look trite and planned?
(ps--What do you think of the name Aydan, for a girl? It means fire, and I like that =D)

Aidan however it is spelt is to me a very masculine name while Nadia is pretty and feminine anyone hearing you talking about your children would assume they were brother and sister not sisters.
I dont think Anagrams are too bad but it depends on how similar ie
Daina / Dania or Amalie /Amelia are far too similar while Nadia and Diana or Malia / Alima or Almeria / Mariela are not too bad

Aidan misspelled and used for a girl are both no-no's in my book. Sorry. Especially paired with such a pretty, feminine name like Nadia. Everyone will assume they are brother & sister upon first hearing the names. I say stick with Nadia, and if you must, use Aidan or a variant as the mn for a little girl. Even b/g twins named Aidan & Nadia would be better than sisters named Nadia & Aydan imo.

Pet peeve: Aidan is a boy's name with very old roots (5th century Irish saint). It is not a girl's name, no matter how it is misspelled.
Twin / sibling names that are also anagrams are subtle enough that they wouldn't look too contrived / cutesy. As long as you really love both names and aren't stretching, I don't see a problem. I don't know of any off the top of my head, but I'm sure others will come up with some great examples.
Good luck.

I think that if they weren't told, most people wouldn't notice. People are notoriously bad at noticing things, in my experience, so I don't think that it'd be a problem.
I love Nadia and also Nadya. However, Ayden is horribly trendy and far too masculine for a girl. If you like names that mean fire, why not use Azar, Nina, Shula, Pyrrha, or Fiammetta? They all mean fire, and they're all actually girl names.
I really like Azar, actually, and the similar-sounding Azucar.
Azar
So oftentimes it happens that we live our lives in chains, and we never even know we have the key.
