WDYT of Patricia? Do you know any who are younger than 50? What is your favorite nickname?

My name is Patricia! I'm 22.
I have five commonly used nicknames: Trish, Ish, Atti, Patrice and Pia. My favorite of which is Pia. I'm called Trish by my father, younger brother, a few of my cousins and a childhood friend. Very small children usually call me Ish. One friend calls me Atti because he dislikes Trish and Pia. It's his created nickname: Patty minus the P and spelled with an I. Then there is the friend who just doesn't like Patricia and thinks that Patrice is more fun to say. My other friends call me Pia and everyone else in the world calls me Patricia.
I have a cousin named Patricia. She's about 27 or 28. She used to go by Patty-Beth but now that she's older she just goes by Patricia.
I went to school with five Patricias as well, they're all between 21 and 23. All of them went by Trish excpet one who went by Patty.
Then, there is a little Patricia I know, she's about 6. Her nickname is Patsy. So cute!
So, including myself I know eight Patricias under 30 and I'm certain I'm missing a few.

I really like it. It was my grandma's name and it is also my great-aunt's name. I know three Patricias under 50. Two are around 30 and the other is 22. None of the nicknames really bother me or stick out. My grandma went by Pat, but my grandpa would call her Patsy and Trish. My great-aunt goes by Patti, so I am used to hearing all of them.

It's ok. I know a few... 2 in their latter 30s (1 might be hitting 40 soon) that go by Patty... Knew one in high school that went by Tricia... Have known a few Trishas that may have been just Trisha... Of course, it still sneaks in as a mn for people now and then... My preferred nns for it would be Trisha or Trish.
Oh yeah... know of another Trish as well (have met her, but wouldn't say I really know her... she married a guy I knew in younger years) that I'm not sure if she's a Patricia or just Trish.
There was a Patricia in 1 of my classes in uni, but I think she was old enough she'd be in her 40s now.

No, I don't know any young Patricias, and that's why I feel like it's dated. I think both Patty and Tricia sound dated too.

Patricia is my nan's name but she goes by Pat.
I don't really like it and I don't like any of the nicknames excepy Pat but that is quite masculine.

My sister's mn is Patricia. She's Hilary Patricia, meaning a happy noblewoman. It fits her to a tee. :-) She's in her 50's. The others I know would be in their 40's or 50's. But I think it's ripe for a revival.
I usen't to like Patricia but lately it's been growing on me a lot. I love that it's known, but not overly used. The association with ancient Rome is a big plus in my book.
My favorite nn for Patricia is Patsy or Pax. :-)

I like it I guess. It's very pleasant and sweet, and I'd imagine a Patricia can do anything she puts her mind to. I've known several around my age, but most who I've met are closer to 50. I don't really like Patty or Tricia, but of the two I prefer Tricia, and Pat I think of as more masculine because I like it as a nn for Patrick.

The youngest one I know is maybe mid-40s.
I think Trish is about as good as you can get for a nn. Pat and Patty and Patsy are not to my taste.

I thik Patricia is pretty. I know a Patricia who is about my age, maybe a little younger. She doesn't have a nn, which is rare; it seems like most Patricias go by something shorter.
I don't care for any of the usual Patricia nns. Pat is okay but sounds pretty middle-aged. Patsy sounds like a fat slob, Patty is a hamburger, Trish and Tish are sneezes, and Tricia just doesn't appeal. I just like Patricia.
