Are the names meant to be quintessentially British? Some of them - Jenson, Beckett -I can only imagine hearing in America or Australia.

No, I don't think they are, but they're from the British Baby Names website. My guess is lots of the names on there are also very common in America.

Nice lists, all in all. There are a couple, like Godiva and Perpetua, that are too out there for me, but I only dislike (well, more like detest) 3: Evangeline, Primrose, and Peregrine.

There are a few others that I am fond of, though figured that I would limit my post to favorites. The lists contain a handful of splendid names each, but I cannot stand Juniper, Leonie, Millicent (lovely, except I am reminded of millepedes), Olwen, Primrose, Ruby, and Zipporah. Similarly, the male names Aidric, Beckett, Bryn, Cassian, Jenson, and Maxwell are not too pleasing.
