Audie / Auddie was used as a nn for
Edward.
I've only ever heard the name on a boy, as in the military hero / actor
Audie Murphy. But I suppose it could just as easily work for Auden,
Edwin,
Edgar,
Edmund, Abelard,
Baldwin /
Baudouin,
Otto,
Archibald,
Roderick, Broderick (= brother), Isambard,
Adriano,
Ardal,
Harold,
Cadwalader, or Arcady /
Arkady.
