[Opinions] Ersa
AIR-sa...
I think it's pretty, but how hard do you think it would be to get people to pronounce it AIR-sa instead of Ursa? Probably really hard.

Ersa is pretty. I thinks the degree of difficulty of getting people to pronounce it the way you want depends on your location.
Not hard really. I would definitely have said "ursa". Then you would've corrected me and from then on I'd say "air-sa". Some people might need two or three reminders at the start, but as long as you prepare yourself for that fact, I don't think it's unusable. It's not like you are trying to enforce a different pronunciation of an already common name. Ersa is pretty out there to begin with.
That would be one long, hard, uphill struggle. Ersa is pretty, but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble.
Keep in mind that I'm gaga about bears / ursi. My judgment may be clouded on this one.

Haha, I totally said Ursa in my head. Yeah, it would be difficult, I agree with the post suggesting Aersa, which is actually quite pretty.
I think it would be hard. Pronouncing it the way it's written, which most people will do, gets you UR-sa.
AIR-sa is pretty, though.

AIR-sa was how I pronounced it in my head when I saw the name but for some reason I thought it was a masculine name. I don't know why, maybe it reminds me of Ezra.
Oh, whoops, it's for a girl? Yeah, I thought of Ezra too.
When I first saw it I thought it was Ursa. Maybe add an A to the beginning? - Aersa.
