Yes, Sweden have naming laws. But they're not strict. You can name your kid Månstråle (moonbeam) or Lycka (happiness) if you want to. They are mainly there to stop stupid parents from using "names" as Heiaiondpndnwwin, Hitler-Stalin or McDonalds.
