It is kind of pretty, and makes sense that it could be Cornish for Gwenfrewi. I think it would be a lot of hassle to use though because everyone will think you said Jennifer.
ETA: Googled Cornish and Gwenfrewi and got plenty of hits also saying it is the correct form. So I'd believe it. Here's one of the sources:
