Help[Opinions] I've known a couple of dogs names Beau or Bo (m)

So first and foremost I think of it as a dog name.
Beyond that... it is sort of a faded Southern aristocrat name, like somebody from Gone with the Wind living in their crumbling mansion with two faithful ex-slaves, thinking that the South won the war.
