There were so many mid-century Lindas, I won't be surprised if it makes a limited comeback in the future, particularly as an honoring middle name.
Even if I ignore Linda's datedness and my own negative family associations, I don't find it pretty, and I probably never would have. I don't like the -inda part. I can tolerate it in Melinda, Belinda, and, to a lesser extent, Lucinda, but Linda just tanks for me overall.
I like Lynn more. Lindy, too.
