It probably won't make a comeback anytime too soon, but it's not unattractive.
It's actually still in the top 1000 and I'm not totally surprised, It doesn't feel quite as dated to me as the names that were high ranking around the same time (Donna, Brenda, Pamela, Cheryl, etc.) I'm not really sure why it doesn't feel that way. I'm sitting here thinking about it and I know it SHOULD, but it doesn't. Hm.
I liked Lynda when I was younger (like, elementary school young).

Being that Linda's a Span. word for beautiful and is also used as a name in some Latino cultures might add to its appeal in some circles in American culture and maintaining its pressence on the charts...
