I think it's a good name. I've met a couple of child Avas.
I personally am not into it because the sound of it makes me think of a bossy person. Not that I expect Avas to be bossy people, really - the name is fine. It's just that my perception of that quality in it would prevent me from adding it to my favorites list or actually using it.
