I prefer the spelling Duane as well...but either way, I am reminded of Full House, Kimmy had a boyfriend (almost got married) to a Dwayne, and he only spoke one word, "whatever". Point is, I never cared for it due to that.
Anyway, not including that...the sound of the name has no appeal.
