I haven't heard of Zale before. My instinct is to pronounce it ZAYL. It seems slightly more feminine to me than masculine. I would like it as a nn for Azalea.I like the name Azalea with the nn Zale. Azalea sounds beautiful, sexy and exotic. Zale sounds spunky and cool.
