Parents:
Pick one for each parent - SO, DH, DW, Dbf, Dgf, Dfiance
Set random renamer however you want, pick one of the first 10 names generated for each parent
http://www.behindthename.com/random/Go here and roll dice for number of births:
http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks1/maths/dice/twelve.htmIf your family would like to adopt roll again for number of adoptions:
Roll for number for each birth here:
http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks1/maths/dice/six.htm1- Boy
2- Girl
3- Multiple
4- Boy
5- Girl
6- Multiple
If you roll multiple you would roll two more times to get the gender of both, if you land on multiple again one of those times it becomes triplet, and so on, roll until each child in that birth has a gender.
For each birth roll for how old each child is:
http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks1/maths/dice/six.htm1 – expecting or under 1
2 – 1, 2, or 3
3- 4, 5, or 6
4 – 7, 8, 9, or 10
5 – 11, 12, or 13
6 – 14, 15, 16 or 17
If you roll two separate births as being the same age and there are no other choices – like you roll a 3 but you already have a 4, 5, and 6 year old that second birth gets added on as a fraternal twin to the child already that age and you have to roll again for another birth.
There will be lots of multiples in this game.
For adopted children use the same system as above, but if you roll one the same age as another child that is okay, you don’t have to add them on as multiples or anything.
If you want you can roll for where you adopted that child from:
http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks1/maths/dice/six.htm1- North America
2- South America
3- Asia
4- Europe
5- Africa
6- Oceania (Australia, New Zealand)
You can pick specific country if you wish.
Once you have all your children in age order roll for names (if you want the adopted children can have names from their home country or whatever you want). Roll for first and however many middles you want.
http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks1/maths/dice/six.htm1- Starts with A, B, C, or D
2- Starts with E, F, G, H, or I
3- Starts with J, K, L, M
4- Starts with O, P, Q, R, S
5- Starts with T, U, V, W, X, Y or Z
6- You choose
I’m sorry if this is confusing. If you have questions I’ll try and clarify. I’ll post one as an example with a walk-through.
