[Opinions] Re: Cesare
Remember how everyone said that Lettice made them think of lettuce? And I didn't see that coming at all because I was completely mistaken about the proper pronunciation of Lettice? So, taking the proper pronunciation of Lettice into account, it's totally understandable that it makes one think of lettuce. It sounds just like lettuce. For me, less obviously, certainly, but Cesare makes me think of lettuce. I guess because of Caesar salad. When I see Cesare, I can almost taste Caesar salad. The delicious Romaine lettuce. Lettuce lettuce lettuce. Crunch crunch crunch. So do I like the name? Nah. I love Caesar salad, but I never like any names (and there are several) that make me think of a food, even if I like the food.
