I kinda like Everard, even though it doesn't fit my style at all. Sometimes I think it's really cool; other times I think of an aristocratic guy. It sounds usable to me. I don't know why it's never been that common: after all, Bernard and Leonard are well known. (My theory is that it's because those two names have common nicknames. Everard does not.)I do know two guys named Everett (a surname derived from Everard), as well as a guy named Eberardo. But it would be really cool to meet an Everard.
