Nora has definite period charm, somewhat spoilt by the fact that my daughter wanted to name a dog Nora Bone. (She was outvoted.) But names with a -lyn ending (Marilyn, Carolyn etc) are dated and needlessly fluffy. I can't see that -lyn adds anything positive to Nora.
