[Opinions] Ansel
What do you think of the name Ansel?

It's lovely but I prefer Anselm.
It's not bad. I'm neutral towards it. It'd be comfy enough, masculine enough, doesn't seem too dorky, and doesn't have negative associations. The only thing that comes to mind is that it rhymes cancel, and that gives it a slight gloom.
I love it. The thing that keeps me from wanting to use it is that I really enjoy photography, so I think it might seem at least slightly cheesy for me to use it because Ansel Adams is so famous.
One of my brother's best friends is a professional photographer, and he has an Ansel. It actually doesn't come off as cheesy irl, not like something like Camera, Flash, or Kodak would.
That's good to know that it doesn't seem cheesy in real life. I might still consider it as a first name even.
