I don't mind Noralyn all that much. The sound of it is fine, but I prefer just Nora. The -lyn part seems frivolous. Even though it's pronounced differently, I think of Nora Lynn, which isn't that exciting given how popular Lynn is as a middle name. Noralyn reminds me of Brooklyn, Ashlyn, and other trendy -lyn names, but at the same time, it has a bit of a retro feel like Carolyn and Marilyn. I guess it seems like it's trying too hard to be "different", yet it doesn't really achieve that.
