What's Gwion? I like Gwion Dafydd a lot. I've never been a big David (et al.) fan but after reading a few books with a Dafydd I've come to like it some.

Gwion is the original name of Taliesin in the tale of Taliesin. It's quite popular - well, for Wales :)
I like Dafydd too. It's got much better short forms than David.
